Descripción : The aim of this study on the teaching of proof about the work in a Dynamic Geometry environment is to build the foundations of a teaching proposal that will help in the achieving of the goals in Upper Middle School level (High School) in Uruguay. The objective of this work is to investigate how the Dynamic Geometry affects the production of a deductive reasoning in students of Diversified High School when they face the posing and validation of geometry activities in classroom. For that purpose we posed a series of geometry activities to two groups of students (working in pairs) of 2º year of Diversified High school, Scientific Orientation (16-17 years), as part of they regular geometry class. One of the groups worked in a Dynamic Geometry environment and the other one with pencil and paper. This with the objective of analyze their respective productions and compare their performances. The results are analyzed according to Sowder and Harel (1998) proof schemes, to the types of tests proposed by Balacheff (1998, 2000a), and to the van Hiele geometric thinking levels (Gutierrez and Jaime 1991, 1996; De Villiers 1999).
