GESTIÓN SISTÉMICA DE RESIDUOS SÓLIDOS (PAPEL Y CARTÓN) EN UNA INSTITUCIÓN DE ESTUDIOS SUPERIORES

Abstract

The thesis is focused on the design of a solid waste management, specifically paper and cardboard, in an institution of higher education. To design the system applies the Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) of Peter Checkland, because it is a human activity system, the methodology drives a cultural interpretive process of action-research and learning that is considered to improve the current situation continuously and cyclically applying continuous feedback and communication between social actors involved in this process. It is supported by the concept of Sustainable Development and tools such as the 3R`s, seeks to motivate cultural change, to keep an optimal use of natural resources without compromising the quality of educational work and generate an awareness of the care we have of our environment. And also makes use of management techniques such as SWOT analysis and statistics such as regression analysis to understand the influence of one variable on another and achieve the involvement of the independent variable results expected in the dependent variable.
