Resumen : The organic matter is vital for ground fertility and this may be provided through the humus. The humus liquids are solutions composed of humic and fulvic acids dissolved in water, which provide organic matter to soil through irrigation. In the present investigation we studied the degradation of sludge from the treatment plant OPDM through vermicompost, which was obtained liquid humus physicochemical characteristics similar to those presented by the commercial liquid humus Hum Ecol, which comes from cattle manure vermicompost, this similarity was found with an analysis of variance of the concentrations of important nutrients such as organic matter, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, it doesn´t exist statistically significant differences between the humus and humus formulated commercial however, the test has better physicochemical characteristics in terms of nutrients is the humus from test 3, as exceeds organic matter content in Hum Ecol 31.6%, on the other hand the percentage of total nitrogen that present trial exceeds by 2.02%, Hum Ecol to. The liquid humus obtained in test 1, in which substrate was used 100% sludge, exceeds 12% HUM ECOL in organic matter. Iis worth mentioning that increasing the percentage of sludge in the trials, lower humus nutrient fluid obtained. It was found by a toxicological test the formulated liquid humus are not phytotoxic, since the value that showed lower germination rate was the control that is labeled as the leachate Hum Ecol, with an average of 184.2% germination rate, the Test 1 obtained a value of 349% germination rate is the highes value obtained in experiment. The values obtained show that none of the trials presented phytotoxicity, as according to (Emin and Warman, 2004) IG values below 50% indicate a high phytotoxicity of the material; GI between 50% and 80% indicate moderate phytotoxicity values above 80% of the material has no phytotoxicity Therefore formulated humus can be used to fertilize soil for agricultural use and recover eroded ground
