Título : PROPUESTA DE INGENIERÍA BÁSICA PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE LOS LODOS GENERADOS EN LA PLANTA DE TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS RESIDUALES DE LA CENTRAL TERMOELÉCTRICA VALLE DE MÉXICO

Resumen : Currently, the Mexican Official Standard NOM-004-SEMARNAT-2002 establishes the obligation to perform conditioning at the sludge and biosolids generated in the wastewater treatment prior to disposal to meet the guidelines established by that standard. Because since its original design, the plant wastewater treatment power plant belonging to the power station Valle de México, lacks a system for treating sludge, as when it was built it did not consider the environmental requirement in the current regulations in that time, in addition, the absence of a project that will provide the technical basis for the construction of this infrastructure in the sewage plant, was considered as a basic proposal that included in this thesis, establishing the basic technical specifications for construction equipment for the treatment of waste. Was considered a treatment option for aerobic digestion because it meets the technical and legal requirements contained in the effluent standard, operation is easier and above all is a considerable price difference compared to a process for sludge treatment by anaerobic digestion method. After analysis, we conclude that the most favorable process for the treatment of sludge is composed of thickening, digestion and dewatering. Based on the effluent characteristics and requirements of the standard is raised by this proposal, which casts us as a result the necessary equipment to carry out the fitting and sizing them to carry out treatment, making the final compliance with the regulations and generating a stabilized waste without aggressive characteristics to the environment, so that it can be deposited in a municipal landfill. It should be noted that the current site of the treatment plant has enough space to install additional equipment and not disrupt the production of treated water demand the generation of electricity at the power station.
Descripción : Actualmente la norma oficial mexicana NOM-004-SEMARNAT-2002, establece la obligatoriedad de realizar un acondicionamiento a los lodos y biosólidos generados en los procesos para tratamiento de aguas residuales previo a su disposición final para cumplir con los lineamientos establecidos por esta mísma norma. Debido a que desde su diseño original, la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales perteneciente a la central termoeléctrica Valle de México, carece de un sistema para tratar los lodos generados, ya que cuando fue construida no se consideraba este requisito ambiental en la normatividad vigente en aquella época, adicionalmente, al no existir un proyecto que proporcione las bases técnicas para la construcción de esta infraestructura en la planta de aguas residuales, se consideró como propuesta básica la incluida en esta tesis, estableciendo las especificaciones técnicas básicas para la construcción de los equipos para el tratamiento de los desechos. Se consideró la opción de un tratamiento por digestión aerobia debido a que éste cumple con los requisitos técnicos y legales contenidos en la norma para los efluentes, es de operación mas sencilla y sobre todo es de una considerable diferencia económica en relación a un proceso para el tratamiento de los lodos mediante el método de la digestión anaerobia. Después del análisis realizado, se concluye que el proceso más favorable para el tratamiento de los lodos es el compuesto por espesamiento, digestión y deshidratación. Con fundamento en las características de los efluentes y de los requisitos de la norma, se plantea esta propuesta, la cual nos arroja como resultado los equipos necesarios para llevar a cabo el acondicionamiento así como el dimensionamiento de los mismos para llevar a cabo el tratamiento, logrando al final el cumplimiento a la normatividad y generando un desecho estabilizado sin características agresivas para el medio ambiente, de manera tal que pueda ser depositado en un relleno sanitario municipal. Cabe señalar que en el actual predio de la planta de tratamiento se tiene espacio suficiente para instalar el equipo adicional y no se interrumpiría la producción de agua tratada que demanda la generación de energía eléctrica en la central.
