Descripción : In many cases the student lacks of the ability to correlate knowledge they have obtained in different subjects to mathematics. It is also common for them not to develop a sequence in what they have been learning; they are unable to find the relation among previous and forthcoming topics of the same subject. In mathematics teaching we mustn’t omit the help that other subjects provide; nor the correlation it may have with them. One of the main reasons for this need of linking topics and subjects is to reach immediately and efficiently the answer our students are looking for to some typical questions such as: what is the reason for studying mathematics?, why are we studying these topic?, what is this concept for?, How would I find this helpful in the future?, etc. Correlation between signatures offer us the opportunity to establish some sort of relation among the topics of an the different subjects they are studying at high school level; this let is an explain as well why physics and mathematics keep an extremely tight correlation. Also we can reconsider certain themes which had been seen previously in physics, and revise them again later or viceversa. In the other hand, it is necessary to mention that nowadays we are living in a globalize society, where the pupils are supposed to assimilate huge amounts of information in really short periods of time. If the correlation among subject let us link class themes in the teaching and learning of mathematics, then we can guide the student to pursue certain goals in their academic life, so they can save time when studying. Also, it is worth mentioning that students are expecting to be taught interesting, useful and appealing knowledge. Finally, for being able to assure that the knowledge which the student is getting would be solid and profitable for themselves as well as for society, must have one of the most important characteristics of the teachinglearning model: the objectives sought by the student, professor, institution, and society should have the same purpose, they should be focused on reaching a similar benefit. In order to achieve what we have previously mentioned, we must not forget our students’ mathematical thought, needs, the value they give to mathematics and others subjects, the school atmosphere they have been living in the goals each subject seeks, the time in which each topic we want to correlate is being taught , the renounce of our compromise to society towards education, the creation of learning needs in the student, team work among academies to strengthen the institutions academic develop, etc. Everything we have treated before can be analyzed and managed in the correlation among subjects.
