Descripción : “Currículo of mathematics and the education methods have been inspired during long time only by ideas that come from the structure of the formal mathematics and by strongly supported didactic methods in the memory and algorithm, where frequently the student is disabled to perceive the bonds that have the procedures with the applications nearest their daily life and it is deprived then to experience its own learnings in other scenes different from which to him its hall class provides”. (Cantoral, 2000) The training programs of the courses of mathematics in the superior mean level of the National Polytechnical Institute, IPN, directly are related to the chair of approximately 300 professors and the process of learning of little more than 50.000 students. These documents, also have influence in all the schools incorporated with recognition of official validity granted by baccalaureate of the IPN, including near 50 university professors and at least 3.000 students more. In summary, the training programs influence actually educative of 350 educational ones and little more than 53.000 students. 1 In this investigation: • the process of processing of the training programs used for the learning and the education of the mathematics in the six courses is documented that are distributed in the superior mean level of the National Polytechnical Institute, IPN • the reach of the proposed results of learning is analyzed, been brief like RAP, that the educational participants decided in each training program • the first formal proposal of standards in mathematical education for the polytechnical baccalaureate appears. In this document the reader will find: • registries detailed as much of the organization to develop the training programs like of the processing process • analysis of obtained products, that is to say, of the structure of the training programs, conformed by learnings, activities of education, learning and evaluation • reflections around the cognitivo reach of the learnings The study tries to locate the reality of education and the learning of the mathematics in the superior mean level of the IPN, that is to say, the nature of "which is" the mathematical one in the polytechnical baccalaureate, forms in which it is conceived, is taught and it learns views from the training programs specialized in the matter, moving away of suppositions or ideas of "which must be", concepts and practices nondocumented that allow to manifold interpretations. The investigation is developed of September of 2005 until August of 2006.
