EL MODELO EDUCATIVO Y LA ENSEÑANZA DE LA NUEVA ECONOMÍA. CASO: ESCUELA SUPERIOR DE ECONOMÍA DEL IPN.

Abstract

Addressing the “new economy” is to resume a current topic, due to the fact this is becoming more latent in our world; because society is going through different situations and problems arising from economic changes generated by globalization. The central thesis of this research, is to corroborate if the curricular adjustments that have been made to the study plans and programs proposed in The Educational Model of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), answer the academic needs of students at the college level in specific at the Escuela Superior de Economía (ESE), while employing new learning ways: classroom education, online, and mixed way; according to the society development, wisdom and learning networks and their utility with telecommunications in the acquisition, processing and linking of knowledge in the labor market where the graduated students from the Institute will integrate, therefore the importance of the adaptations to the study plans and programs; that allow us to comprehend the modifications that have been made, as the usage of new methodologies to achieve the graduate profile of students, and consequently the progress of the country. This research consists of three chapters, the first one is, The New Economy, the second one The Educational Model of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and the third one, Escuela Superior de Economía, which presents the analysis of a questionnaire (annex 1) in an exploratory no probabilistic way, the interpretation of the obtained information (annex 2), plus conclusions and some suggestions for using the networks and knowledge societies in the new economy, in the Educational Model of the IPN
