MAESTRO EN CIENCIAS EN ADMINISTRACION Y DESARROLLO DE LA EDUCACIÓN

Abstract

The results of a quantitative research made in the specialties of Industrial Process, Construction, Mantenance and Electric Installations at the Centro de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos No. 4 “Lázaro Cárdenas”, are shown in this document. The main purpose in to determine the use and application of competences in the highschool teacher’s profile. To develop this research it was necessary to work with the current Educative Model, which bases on competences. The methological process used in this research in presented in chapter one, in wich the research model; origins and background, justification, the problem expound, the research questions and the objectives definition can be found. In chapter two, the study of the Reforma Integral de Edcuación Media Superior is founded so as to talk about the background of the CECyT 4 “Lázaro Cárdenas”, as well as the acceptance of the educative model based on competences by highschool teachers. Chapter three takes the reader to an approach based on competences, including the different conceptions of this approach according to the author and place, as well the context of competences in Mexico an the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Chapter four contains the methodology or this research showing its design and development. Finally chapter five gives the analysis and results systematized, in addition with the final results presentation gotten through this project.
